Chauvin Arnoux CA8345 Power Quality Analyser
The CA 8345 is a Qualistar Class A power and power quality analyzer.Like the Qualistar+ models, it is equipped with an intuitive HMI and remains simple to use. The multilingual online help can be displayed at any time on the large LCD color touchscreen. A virtual keyboard is available in all modes and is automatically displayed on the HMI as soon as input is required to:
lock the configuration with a password
enter emails directly
Easy to handle, it is intended for inspection and maintenance teams working on industrial or tertiary facilities. I can be used to get a snapshot of key power quality parameters. Qualistars can be used on any type of installation.
For added safety, the CA 8345 automatically recognizes the type of current sensor being connected.
The CA 8345 offers high measurement accuracy. It offers many calculated values and several processing functions. It provides users with all the metrics needed for the success of energy efficiency and power distribution monitoring projects. It is also possible to immediately know the value of the electricity consumed by calculating the cost of electricity.
The CA 8345 can display harmonics and interharmonics as required by IEC 61000-4-7 up to the 127th order.
At the same time, it detects the powerline flowing over the system.
Flicker measurements are performed according to IEC 61000-4-15.
CA 8345 monitors all events on the network:

A Monitoring mode can be used to record measurement campaigns for analysis according to EN50160.
Communication
In addition to SD cards and USB sticks, it is possible to retrieve measurements and communicate remotely with the CA 8345 via USB, remote links, Wifi (WAP direct or via server) or RJ45. An IRD server mode allows data extraction from anywhere in the world without threatening the security of the internet network.
The Power Analyser Transfer PAT3 software allows measurements made with the Qualistar Class A to be processed. It can be downloaded from the Chauvin Arnoux support site.
